Green Apple & Banana Smoothie Bowl

Seasonal Fruit Bowl with Mango Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • Green Apples

  • Bananas

  • Mixed Seed and Quinoa Crackers

  • Peanut Butter

  • Gluten Free Sourdough Bread, toasted

  • Vegan Protein Powder (Optional)

Method

Serves 2

  1. Cut the green apples and bananas up in the desired quantities and freeze for an hour or 2.

  2. Remove the cut green apples and bananas from the freezer and defrost in the fridge for some time. When suitably defrosted blend with protein powder to the desired consistency and transfer to a bowl.

  3. Add peanut butter and mixed seed and quinoa crackers, deconstructing a few and layering.

  4. Top with a toasted slice of gluten free sourdough and enjoy!
